Normally, I’m not really into video game shirts, but every now and then I’ll find one that I like. Whether or not I’ll actually wear them is still to be decided, but recently, I got not one—but three—new shirts that I am quite fond of.
First up below is easily one of my favorite game-related shits ever: A souvenir-y shirt for Tocula Lake. Toluca Lake, of course, is the lake at the center of a little town called Silent Hill. For those who don’t know, there’s actually a small part of Los Angeles called Toluca Lake—my life will now not be complete until I get a photo of myself wearing this Toluca Lake shirt in Toluca Lake. *laughs*
Next up is another yellow shirt, this one for Persona 4 Arena / Persona 4 Golden. This one came from the Atlus booth at E3, where I told them I’d give the games good reviews if they gave me a shirt. *laughs* (Just kidding—they were giving them out to everyone.) I’m actually not a huge Teddie fan, which seems to be blasphemy for those who are fans of the game. Not that I don’t love Teddie—I do—but not to the crazy adoration some other fans out there seems to hold for him.
Finally, we’ve got a promo t-shirt for the fantastic Gravity Rush. It’s a little hard to tell from the photo, but the t-shirt is a sort of purple-y grey, and the image of Kat and Dusty is a sort of pink. It’s a really great combination, and looks quite wonderful in person; the overall image itself is also elegantly simple, something you could wear without screaming “I play video games”.
